Puddle Of Mudd’s Wes Scantlin Arrested Again

Wes Scantlin, singer for Puddle of Mudd, has been arrested for DUI for the second time in ten days.

In the latest incident, Scantlin was arrested Wednesday morning by police in South Dakota and charged with DUI and possession of marijuana.

The singer was booked and released on $500 bail. The band played later that night in Sturgis at the annual motorcycle rally.

Scantlin was last arrested on Sunday, August 26 in Renville County, MN where officers pulled him over after a 100 MPH chase. The police measured his blood alcohol level at .310, four times the legal limit in the state. In that incident, he was also charged with fleeing from the police and refusing to cooperate for police after refusing to do further tests.

The singer has had trouble with the police numerous times over the years, including a 2002 incident that saw both he and his fiance arrested for domestic violence, a 2004 case where he appeared at a concert while intoxicated and went on to throw things at the crowd, in 2012 for tax evasion and being intoxicated and interrupting an airline flight, in 2013 again for domestic violence and, earlier this year, for disorderly conduct when he rode the baggage carousel at a Milwaukee airport. He was also banned from Graceland for swimming in an off-limits pool.
