The Queencliff Music Festival is offering a grant of up to $10,000 for emerging artists.
The 2012 winners were Tom Mikel and Alister Turrill.
Tom used his winnings to produce and record an album. Alister put his winnings towards tour costs and has now been confirmed for the Echuca & Moama Winter Blues Festival, Bendigo Blues Festival and Blues on the Briars.
Both Tom and Alister also performed at Queenscliff Music Festival 2012.
The Queenscliff Music Festival Emerging Artist Grant is open to artists in the Geelong, Barwon South West and Bellarine Peninsula region.
Applicants have until July 31 to submit an application for this year’s grant.
The Queenscliff Music Festival will be held over November 22, 23 and 24 in Queenscliff, Victoria.
Artists appearing at the Queencliff Music Festival for 2013 are The Living End, John Butler Trio, The Grates, Spiderbait, Blue King Brown, Saskwatch, The Screaming Jets, Russell Morris, Busby Marou, Underground Lovers, Eagle and the Worm, Darren Percival, Jeff Lang and Jasmine Rae.
