Bart Walsh, a one-time member of David Lee Roth’s band, has died at the age of 56.
Walsh was once a member of the Van Halen covers band The Atomic Punks. That band also features Ralph Saenz who became Michael Starr in Steel Panther. As he knew all the moves, Roth recruited him for his 1999 tour.
Walsh also worked with Bret Michaels on his solo work and kept a day job a Gibson Guitars, doing guitar clinics.
Walsh’s cause of death is listed as gastrointestinal bleed and dehydration.
