Legendary actor (and part time Metal God) Sir Christopher Lee has died at the age of 93.
Lee will always be remembered as the classic Dracula but over decades his characters included Scaramanga in the James Bond film ‘The Man With The Gold Gun’, Count Dooku in the 2002 and 2005 Star Wars films and Saruman in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Lee was knighted for his services to drama and charity in 2009.
Christopher Lee loved heavy metal music and recorded four albums as well as three Christmas EPs. He also performed for the soundtrack on one of his classic movies ‘The Wicker Man’ in 1973.
Lee died at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on June 7. His wife delayed the message to fans so that family could be first advised.
