The House of Blues on Sunset Strip is no more. Steel Panther played the final show at HOB on Monday night and smacked the old girl on the arse with songs featuring Ron Jeremy, Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus, Joey Fatone and a few other famous friends.

Former porn star Ron Jeremy serenaded the venue with ‘When The Saints Go Marching In’ and ‘Oh Susanna’ while Miley Cyrus joined Steel Panther and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, for a cover of Def Leppard’s ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’.

Billy Ray was there for ‘Rebel Yell’ and Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt joined the band for a cover of The Kinks ‘You Really Got Me’.

Dane Cook and NSYNC’s Joey Fatone also shared the Steel Panther stage for the last ever show at HOB in West Hollywood.

House of Blues owners Live Nation have sold the venue to a developer to turn the site into a hotel and apartment block complex. A new House of Blues is expected to be build in downtown LA or Hollywood within 18 months.

Meantime, the House Of Blues is still alive and well in California in San Diego and Anaheim.

For the record, the last song ever performed at HOB West Hollywood was ‘Death To All But Metal’ by Steel Panther.
