Lewis was 82 years old and battling cancer in recent years.
Steinberg was an MG for Booker T from 1962 to 1965 and played on the classic ‘Green Onions’.
Steinberg played on the first two MGs albums, ‘Green Onions’ and ‘Soul Dressing’ before leaving. He was replaced by Donald ‘Duck’ Dunn.
