R. Kelly calls out fake Australia tour announcement

The R. Kelly Australian tour announcement just got weirder with the disgraced R&B star calling out the announcement with a “Fake Tour Alert”.

After Friday’s Australian tour announcement Kelly posted to Facebook “FAKE TOUR ALERT While I love all my amazing Fans in the Australia region I am NOT involved in this tour nor do I have knowledge of it, it’s promoters, etc. I will NOT be in Australia during these dates. Watch my social media…when it’s time for my next international tour (which is soon) you’ll hear it directly from me. Stay tuned for more King shit in the VERY near future!”

Kelly’s Australian tour was announced on Friday by previously unknown Big Music Tour Pty Ltd. The venues announced were major outdoor sizes usually reserved for stadium acts yet it is unlikely that someone of Kelly’s standing would be capable of filling a 1000 capacity venue in Australia given his music history.

That would diminish even further based on his vile sexual predator history, all of which Noise11 acknowledges never led to a conviction.

While the company said in a statement to the Sydney Morning Herald, “”Mr Kelly was cleared of all allegations and, in our view, you are innocent until proven guilty” which legally is correct.

Themusic.com.au led the charge on the question over venues being booked.

BUYER BEWARE: If a tour looks like a turd and smells like a turd, don’t taste it.
