R&B superstar R. Kelly has come out of the closet to announce that he has 32 more episodes of Trapped in the Closet and needs funding.
“I’ve always wanted to be a movie director, and that’s pretty much my movie directing seeping out through my music, that’s the best way to put it,” Kelly explained to TMZ. “Trapped in the Closet is like an alien, that’s what I always tell people – and by the way I got 32 more chapters that I’m looking to put out now. It costs a lot of money to do it, so I’m actually looking for investors.”
Anyone who has seen the first 22 episodes of Trapped in the Closet knows deep down in their heart that the next 32 episodes not being funded should be considered a crime against humanity. This show/song is like crack to me.
If you are the kind of person who is swimming in moolah, I emplore you to get in touch with Mr. Kelly and organise a time that you can wheel a dumptruck full of Benjamins up to his house, for the good of humanity.
The singer’s 2005 “hip-hopera” detailed the most complicated web of love affairs ever told through art. It could well be the most ingenious soap opera/R&B song ever created. Don’t believe me? Say goodbye to the next hour and a half of your life:
