Radiohead’s ninth album ‘A Man Shaped Pool’ was released on CD and vinyl today.
Radiohead originally made the album available via download and streaming on May 8.
Unfortunately with very little notice the band announced in-store events at independent music stores around the world but with less than one hours notice it will be difficult for fans to participate.
By explanation the band said in a statement, “We have put together music for an audio stream into stores throughout release day. Jonny has selected 2 hours of live tracks taken from last month’s Roundhouse shows in London; there are playlist favourites from Colin & Ed, and Thom has created a long playlist based on his ‘office charts’. Stanley Donwood has created an ‘inconsequential pamphlet’ (his words) based on his experiences creating the album cover”.
