Randy Travis was at Madam Tussauds Nashville this week for the unveiling of Randy Travis the wax statue.
“I have been excitedly waiting to see the figure in person,” said Travis. “The Madame Tussauds team did a fantastic job capturing my likeness and I can’t wait for my fans to stop by the attraction to see it for themselves.”
To make the wax figure Travis sat multiple times with the team capturing 300 measurements. Randy donated his clothes for the model.
Randy joins an all-star line-up in Nashville committed to wax. There is Beyoncé, Billie Holiday, Blake Shelton, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Carl Perkins, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Diana Ross, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis Presley, George Jones, George Strait, Hank Williams, Jason Aldean, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Kenny Rogers, Kid Rock, Little Jimmy Dickens, Louis Armstrong, Luke Bryan, Miley Cyrus, Minnie Pearl, Muddy Waters, Patsy Cline, Rayna Jaymes & Deacon Claybourne, Reba McEntire, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and Waylon Jennings.
Madam Tussauds Nashville is located within Opry Mills Mall across the street from the Grand Ole Opry.
