Rare color photos of the Beatles taken while the Fab Four were on an early US tour are going to be auctioned on the 50th anniversary of the release of the band’s debut album.
The pictures which have never been published were from the summer tour of 1964 when Beatlemania gripped the US reports Sky News.
Ernie Sutton, of the British Beatles Fan Club, said: “New photographs that emerge of The Beatles are always of interest to the fans, but with the majority of photographs from this tour in black and white, it is a delight to see color photographs.”
The collection of 65 slides are expected to be sold for £10,000 to £15,000 ($16,000 to $24,000).
The hammer will fall on March 22.
