Red Hot Chili Peppers Play First Australian Show of 2019 in Hobart Australia

by Paul Cashmere on February 18, 2019

in News

Red Hot Chili Pepper have started their Australian tour with the first performance in Hobart, Tasmania.

Red Hot Chili Peppers played the Derwent Centre in Hobart on Sunday night (17 February 2019).

It wasn’t the perfect show, far from it. The Chili Peppers suffered sound problems in the first 10 minutes and the show stopped for 15 minutes while the issues were fixed. Flea became Ringmaster for the break, doing handstands and other tricks for the crowd until the sound returned and the band resumed 20 minutes later.

So here is what a Red Hot Chili Peppers setlist looks like 2019 style:

Intro Jam
Can’t Stop (from By The Way, 2002)
Pea (from One Hot Minute, 1995)
Lady Grinning Soul (David Bowie cover)
Dani California (from Stadium Arcadium, 2006)

Toto Returns To Melbourne #Review

Toto’s 2025 setlist focuses on the heritage of the band. The setlist was interesting. Compared to how it was curated for Australia in 2019 this time Toto kept to the albums of the 1900s. Mind you, there were no complaints from the audience for doing that. The biggest hits came from those early years.
