X Factor winner Reece Mastin tells Noise11 he found out who his true fans were when they discovered he was dating Home And Away star Rhiannon Fish.

It seems there was overwhelming positivity from his female fans when it was revealed back in August that Reece Mastin was dating Home And Away actress Rhiannon Fish, who starred as his love interest in the video for the single ‘Shout It Out’. But Mastin tells Noise11 that it wasn’t all high fives and good vibes.
“There were a few that weren’t very happy,” the teen heartthrob recalls. “It was good for me and Rhiannon because we found out who are true fans were. We have had people that have left [as followers] but you obviously weren’t there for my music and you obviously weren’t there to support her on her show.”
He shrugs, “It kinda worked out in a good way”.
The couple acknowledged that they were an item online after being sprung by paparazzi. “We actually didn’t announce it,” he avers, “Someone just took a photo and we’re like, whatever, it’s out now.”
“We’re not ones to play with the media or anything like that. We just do whatever we want to do and whatever they catch they can have,” he laughs.
Despite breaking a few hearts with the news, it certainly shouldn’t affect the sales of his second album Beautiful Nightmare, which was released last Friday on the back of two platinum-selling singles ‘Shut Up And Kiss Me’ and ‘Shout It Out’.
