Darnell Van Rensalier and Garfield Bright (G) were Shai in the 90s and they are again.
‘If Ever I Fall In Love’ reached no. 2 in the USA and is the only acapella song to go top 10 in America. It was also a massive hit in Australia and one of the biggest selling songs of the 90s but it turned out to be Shai’s only impact in the music world.
The ‘If I Ever Fall In Love’ album sold over 3 million copies in America. 1995’s ‘Blackface’ did around 1 million.
Shai will tour the east coast of Australia in June.
