Renee Geyer and You Am I To Perform During Melbourne Music Week

Renee Geyer will celebrate the disco era with Kylie Auldist and Chelsea Wilson while You Am I will wrap themselves around The Grand Organ during Melbourne Music Week in November.

Geyer, Audlist and Wilson will present The Bad Girls Disco. It is just one of the events revealed today ahead of the big Melbourne Music Week unveiling on October 2.

Renee was at her disco peak in 1981 with the hit ‘Say I Love You’.

You Am I will make their Melbourne Music Week debut with a performance at the Melbourne Town Hall. You Am I will incorporate the iconic The Grand Organ into their performance.

Councillor Rohan Leppert, Chair of the City of Melbourne’s Arts, Culture and Heritage portfolio said, “MMW has a history of transforming Melbourne landmarks into live music venues. The choice of ACMI as our 2018 Hub aligns with our mission to create a unique event that supports and celebrates Melbourne’s thriving music industry.”

Melbourne Music Week is on November 16-24, 2018.
