Renee Geyer will make one of her rare 2019 appearances to perform with Brooke Taylor and Lara Travis for ‘Strong Women of Song’ at Memo Music Hall next week.
It has been five years since the last Renee Geyer album ‘Swing’ and 45 years since her first album in 1973. She has graced the Top 40 charts over her years with ‘Heading In The Right Direction’ (no 31, 1975), ‘Stares and Whispers’ (no 17, 1977), ‘The Restless Years’ (no 37, 1977), ‘Say I Love You’ (no 5, 1981), ‘Do You Know What I Mean’ (no 29, 1981) and ‘All My Love’ (no 28, 1985).
Melbourne’s Brooke Taylor released her debut EP in 2017.
Songwriter, art writer and historian, curator and stripper Lara Travis should bring a point of difference to Renee and Brooke.
Doors Open: 7.30pm, Showtime 8.40pm.
