Richard Clapton will release his 14th studio album ‘The House of Orange’ in April.
The crowd-funded ‘The House of Orange’ was recorded in Nashville with producer Mark Moffatt. Dan Dugmore, a veteran of albums for Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Stevie Nicks and James Taylor plays on the album as well as David Labruyere from John Mayer’s band.
One of the songs, ‘Carry Me Home’, is a collaboration with Richard’s daughter Saskia. The lead song from the record is ‘Something About You’. Richard explained, “I wrote this song just jamming along by myself. It’s just a no–brainer, a fun rocker that is just that – fun!”
‘The House of Orange’ will be released on April 8, 2016.
