Member of Longpigs and Pulp, guest of Arctic Monkeys and Elbow, and solo artist Richard Hawley will hit Australia in 2013.
Hawley is going strong after more than two decades in the business, his most recent solo album Standing At The Sky’s Edge gathering a nod for this year’s Mercury Prize.
But his history is equally impressive, beginning in Britpop act Longpigs, then moving to Pulp, and embarking on a solo career that also saw him guest on albums by Elbow, Arctic Monkeys, All Saints and Nancy Sinatra and co-write with Robbie Williams.
At the beginning of 2013, Hawley will visit Australia for the first time in his storied career, playing Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
Frontier members can grab tickets from midday on Thursday 18 October and the general public get a crack from 9am Monday 22 October from Ticketek for Brisbane, Ticketmaster for Melbourne and ShowTicketing in Perth.
