Television entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins and radio broadcasters Angela Catterns and Keith McGowan have been named in the Queen’s Birthday honours list.
Richard Wilkins was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) “for significant service to the community through a range of charities, and to the entertainment industry”.
Angela Catterns also received the AM “for significant service to the broadcast media industry as a radio presenter, and to social welfare organisations”.
The late Keith McGowan was posthumously awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) “for service to broadcast media as a talkback radio host”. McGowan died in December, 2013.
Other entertainment bonours were awarded to The Seekers and Paul Grabowsky.
