Former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has partnered with Elton John’s co-writer Bernie Taupin to write the song Engine 19.
The song is a tribute to the first responders who “keep us safe around the country” and in honor of the victims, families and heroes of September 11, 2013.
In a statement, Sambora said that the song is, “n tribute to the brave men and women of the Fire Department, and all of the first responders around the country, Richie is honored to release this tribute to their hard work and dedication”.
