Rick Springfield is going to have a very busy 2014. Along with the release of his first novel, Magnificent Vibration, in May, he is also out on his Stripped Down solo tour which is expected to go through the end of the year.
In July, Rick is taking a break from Stripped Down to do nine shows with fellow 80’s hitmakers Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo. Their tour starts June 29 in Raleigh, NC and concludes July 25 in Saratoga, CA.
Springfield had five top twenty hits in the U.S. led by his number 1, Jessie’s Girl. Benatar, with guitarist/husband Giraldo, scored nine top twenty hits with her biggest being Love is a Battlefield and We Belong which both reached number 5.
Tickets went on sale on Friday (February 28).
