Ride to play first Australian dates in 25 years

Ride will return to Australia in August for the first time since the 1990s.

Ride formed in Oxford in 1988. They released four albums between 1990 and 1996 before breaking up. Andy Bell then joined Oasis and was later a member of Beady Eye with Liam Gallagher.

Ride announced their reformation in 2014. They released ‘Weather Diaries’, their first album in 21 years in 2017 and will release ‘This Is Not a Safe Place’ on 16 August 2019.

Thursday 29th August – Powerstation, Auckland

Australia:
Saturday 31st August – Astor Theatre, Perth
Wednesday 4th September – The Tivoli, Brisbane
Thursday 5th September – Forum, Melbourne
Friday 6th September – Enmore Theatre, Sydney
