Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band opened their 12th tour as has been the norm the last couple of years, the Avalon Ballroom Theatre in Niagara Falls, Canada.
The band played the same set on nights one and two (and also on the third night of the tour in Bethel Woods, NY), indicating that this will, most likely, be a fairly rigid show over the course of its run.
This years All-Starr Band is:
Steve Lukather (guitar, vocals) – Member of Toto
Gregg Rollie (keyboards, vocals) – Founding member of Santana and Journey
Todd Rundgren (guitar, percussion, vocals) – Legendary singer/guitarist
Richard Page (bass, vocals) – Member of Mr. Mister
Mark Rivera (saxophone, vocals) – Member of Billy Joel’s band since 1982.
Greg Bissonette (drums, vocals) – Session & touring drummer for David Lee Roth, Toto and many others
As with all All-Starr Band tours, the show starts out with a few from Ringo followed by trading off between Starr and the other band members doing some of their biggest hits, with Ringo closing out the show.
