Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation Goes Solo

by Tim Cashmere on November 28, 2019

in News

Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation has released a new solo EP under the name GARZA.

It is not his first solo outing. In 2015, he released the Bollywood-tinged ‘Palace of Mirrors’ aimed squarely at the clubs of the world.

This time around, the vocals of songwriter-cum-artist Seann Bowe (The Veronicas, Weezer, Wiz Kalifa) and rising artist EMELINE give the songs depth and relevance. It is much more song-focused, and while in some ways it harks back to the Thievery Corporation days, it feels modern because of his young collaborators.

GARZA will be hitting the road across the USA.
