Comedian Rob Schneider says he took a voice-over job in ‘Top Cat: The Movie’ so that his daughter could enjoy him in a movie now.
Schneider does the voice of Lou Strickland in the US version of the Top Cat movie originally made the Latin-American market.
“I have a little daughter, she’s 10 months old and I want to do some movies that she can see right away that I’m in,” Rob tells Noise11. ‘Top Cat’ was a Hanna Barbara animation that was pretty cool and that’s what I grew up with. It is nice to be part of that. I play the goofy bad guy. Animated movies are fun. I get to do different voices and I usually get to play several of the characters. If we are laughing while we are doing it, then it is usually a pretty good sign”.
Schneider has had a busy few years with his sitcom ‘Rob’ and a new song ‘Real Rob’ on the way.
In between he will perform in Australia of Adrian Bohm Presents.
