Thomas still fronts Matchbox Twenty but the band has been relatively inactive since the 2012 release ‘North’. Rhythm guitarist Adam Gaynor left in 2005, so musically only missed the ‘North’ album and the new tracks from the Best of ‘Exile on Mainstream’.

‘Chip Tooth Smile’ was produced by former Marvelous 3 singer Butch Walker. Walker has produced albums for Sevendust, The Donnas, Avril Lavigne, Weezer and Panic! At the Disco.
