Robbie Williams got “such a buzz” from performing this year that he will put on a European tour in 2013.
The star announced he will be doing a 15 date stadium tour across Europe on his website today.
The former Take That member will begin his series of shows, the first for more than six years, in Manchester City Stadium in June 2013.
‘I’ve got such a buzz out of playing live again this year,” Robbie explained. “The shows we have done have reminded me how special it is to play my songs in front of a huge audience, with all the excitement and adrenaline that it can bring. Bring on 2013!!’
Robbie will then visit Glasgow’s Hampden Park before travelling to London’s Wembley Stadium for two nights at the end of June. The star follows his UK dates with appearances in cities including Vienna, Copenhagen, Mila, Brussels and Munich. Robbie will finish the tour on August 20 at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds in Tallinn.
The announcement comes after the sell out success of Robbie’s recent three shows at London’s O2 Arena.
Tickets for the 2013 dates will go on sale on Friday November 30 at 9am in the UK. Robbie will be supported by former UK X Factor contestant and pop star Olly Murs.
Robbie will release his new single Different on Island Records on December 17.
