For more than a year, there have been rumors that Robert Plant and Patty Griffin were married although his management denied it.

Griffin set the record straight recently in a Billboard interview, saying “We’re not legally married, no” but she did say their connection was deep professionally. “We get a lot of energy from each other’s singing. We both have similar places that we come from as singers – a lot of emotion, and sometimes the emotion overrides technique. He inspires me. He goes far and deep.”
Although not married, the two are involved romantically, with Griffin and Plant co-residing in Austin and England. That relationship has become the target of a stalker of Plant’s who has now had a restraining order issued to her.
Alysson Blessing has allegedly been stalking Plant for three years and believes that the two are in a relationship. Recently, the contacts she has made with Plant have taken a very dark turn with threats against Griffin. A sample message: “This woman is literally evil for you and your life. You are about to fall for that dirty old crotch. And I’m not joking, I cannot, will not, shall not live this way any more.”
