The Troubadour is not the place where you would normally expect to see a performance by Rod Stewart, but that’s the venue he played to a small crowd of 300 on Thursday night.

The ten song set mixed music from his upcoming album, Time (May 7), and a few of his iconic hits. At one point, he told the crowd “When you hear the new ones, clap like you’ve heard them many times,” and they willingly obliged.

The set list:
Can’t Stop Me Now (from Time, 2013)
Forever Young (from Out of Order, 1988)
It’s Over (from Time, 2013)
Rhythm of My Heart (from Vagabond Heart, 1991)
Finest Woman (from Time, 2013)
You Wear It Well (from Never a Dull Moment, 1972)
She Makes Me Happy (from Time, 2013)
Have I Told You Lately (from Unplugged and Seated…, 1993)
Brighton Beach (from Time, 2013)
Sexual Religion (from Time, 2013)

The Rolling Stones will perform tonight (April 27) for 300 at The Echoplex in Echo Park, LA.

Toto Returns To Melbourne #Review

Toto’s 2025 setlist focuses on the heritage of the band. The setlist was interesting. Compared to how it was curated for Australia in 2019 this time Toto kept to the albums of the 1900s. Mind you, there were no complaints from the audience for doing that. The biggest hits came from those early years.
