The Rolling Stones Australian and New Zealand tour is looking likely to be rescheduled for October and November.
Concert promoter Frontier Touring have issued the following statement:
At this very sad time we would like to reassure Rolling Stones fans and ticket holders that every effort is currently being made to reschedule the postponed Australia and New Zealand dates for October/November 2014.
The Stones shows were cancelled following the death of Mick Jagger’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott on Monday. The band had already arrived in Perth for the start of the tour. Instead of a Rolling Stones show last night, drummer Charlie Watts performed at a Perth jazz club.
The rescheduling of The Rolling Stones tour is a major operation and it is to yet definite if it will be possible to reschedule.
Rescheduled dates are being presently worked on for The Rolling Stones ’14 On Fire’ Tour of Australia & New Zealand and will be announced as soon as possible. If the new dates are not suitable, rest assured you will be able to secure a refund.
While we encourage fans to hold on to their tickets the option to secure a refund is now available to you via the official ticketing agency you purchased from. Patrons will be able to secure a refund for the value of their tickets and fees and charges incurred in purchasing the ticket.
