Austin City Limits has announced the newest members of its Hall of Fame.
Being inducted this coming October 15 are Roy Orbison, Rosanne Cash and The Neville Brothers.
Over the years, the three artists have all made appearances on the Austin City Limits program; however, Orbison only appeared once (1983) before his untimely death. The Neville Brothers have appeared three times (1979, 1986 and 1995) while Cash has amassed an impressive eight (1983, 1983 (with Rodney Crowell), 1986 (with Emmylou Harris), 1988, 1992, 1994, 2003 and 2010 (with Brandi Carlisle)).
Only Willie Nelson with thirteen, Lyle Lovett with eleven and Asleep at the Wheel with ten have more appearances than Cash. Nanci Griffith, Merle Haggard, Delbert McClinton and Michael Martin Murphey also have eight.
