Rose Tattoo To Play Two Nights At The Whisky A Go Go

by Paul Cashmere on October 4, 2019

in News

Rose Tattoo will play a two nights at West Hollywood’s Whisky A Go Go in 2020.

The Whisky was where Guns N Roses played in their early days. ‘Sweet Child O Mine’ was performed for the first time at the venue on the Sunset Strip.

Guns N Roses and Rose Tattoo also have another intersection. Guns N Roses were massive fans of Rose Tattoo. They covered the Tatts ‘Nice Boys’ which must have given Angry Anderson a few extra dimes. Angry has joined Axl Rose to perform the song with Guns N Roses numerous times on Gunners Australian tours.

L.A. Rose Tattoo fans will also be treated to the new “supergroup” Rose Tattoo line-up. Former AC/DC bass player Mark Evans is in the band. Ex-The Angels and Skyhooks Bob Spencer is also a member of Rose Tattoo.

Rose Tattoo will play the Whisky A Go Go on May 8 and 9 2020.
