Ross Hannaford fans around the world who cannot attend the ‘Concert for Ross Hannaford’ event in Melbourne can now donate online.
The Daddy Cool legend is battling a serious health issue at the moment and his famous friends will gather at the Memo Music Hall on July 18 for the ‘Concert for Ross Hannaford: Dance If You Want To’.

Ross Hannaford is one of the legends of Australian music. Together with Mike Rudd and Ross Wilson, Hannaford pre-dated Daddy Cool and Spectrum with the Party Machine.
In Daddy Cool, Hannaford’s propeller head beanie made him one of the most recognisable people in Australia and the hits ‘Eagle Rock’, ‘Come Back Again’ and ‘Hi Honey Ho’ became rock classics of Australian culture.

An ARIA hall of fame inductee as a founding member of Daddy Cool, Ross’s musical history spans 50 years. Beginning in the mid 60’s at age 16 with the Pink Finks, then Party Machine, Sons of the Vegetal Mother, Daddy Cool, Mighty Kong, Bambu, Billy T, One Foundation, Lucky Dog , Small Axe, Dianna Kiss (10 year residency at the Espy) to last year’s Critters. Back in the 90’s when Paul Kelly was asked why he lived in Melbourne, his reply was “Where else in the world can you see Ross Hannaford play for free every Monday night?’
Ross has also added his distinctive magic to many recordings and bands over the years such as Mark Gillespie, Goanna, Black Sorrows, Paul Madigan, Ian Moss, Renee Geyer and so many more.
