Royal Blood Score Biggest UK Rock Album In Three Years

Royal Blood’s debut album has become the fastest selling rock album in the UK since Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds three years ago.

Royal Blood’s self-titled album debuted at no 1 on the UK chart this week with sales of 66,000 units.

Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher are Royal Blood. The band started to get noticed after playing at major festival across Europe including Glastonbury, T In The Park and Download.

The band formed in Brighton, UK only last year but have already gathered celebrity fans with Jimmy Page and Arctic Monkeys just a few rock stars who have rocked up at their gigs.

Royal Blood have released four singles to date, ‘Out of the Black’, ‘Little Monster’, ‘Come On Over’ and ‘Figure It Out’.

The Royal Blood album also debuted in Australia this week with 4172 sales.
