Rufus Wainwright’s eye has been chosen as the official image of the 19th Biennale of Sydney.
The Biennale of Sydney will run from March 21 to June 9, 2014.
The Biennale of Sydney is Australia’s largest international visual arts event. It is presented under the artistic direction of Juliana Engberg.
The 12-week exhibition has been held in Sydney every two years since it began in 1973. It is the first biennale to be held in the Asia-Pacific region. Since Biennale of Sydney started it has showcased over 1600 artists from over 100 countries.
The 2014 event is titled ‘You Imagine What You Desire’.
Rufus Wainwright’s collaboration with Douglas Gordon is titled ‘All Days Are Nights: Songs For Lulu’
