Russell Morris’s long out of print albums ‘A Foot In The Door’ (1979) and ‘Almost Frantic’ (1980) have been reissued via Sandman Records.
‘A Foot In The Door’ was recorded at Melbourne’s Armstrong Studios with with engineer Ian McKenzie and Producer Ralph Moss.
‘Almost Frantic’ came a year later with engineer Ross Cockle and producer David Briggs (LRB).
This is the first time for both albums on CD. Bonus tracks have been included on both releases.
Russell Morris is currently enjoying his most successful period in 40 years with his two blues album ‘Sharkmouth’ and ‘Van Dieman’s Land’. ‘Sharkmouth’ was the most successful Australian album featuring original songs in 2013.
