Scott Weiland Ready For Next Record

Scott Weiland is ready to head back into the studio to make his first solo album of original songs since 2008’s ‘Happy In Galoshes’.

Weiland has been roadtesting three new songs on his recent US shows and posted to Facebook today “writing on the road for the yet to be titled “Brand new album”.

Fans at his recent shows were treated to the new songs ‘The Way She Moves’, ‘Beach Pop Song’ and ‘Circles’.

Weiland has been performing a near complete set of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver songs as a well as a cover of David Bowie’s “The Jean Genie’ at his shows.

Scott Weiland was officially fired from Stone Temple Pilots in 2012. STP now tours with Chester Bennington of Linkin Park as their lead singer.
