The Concert for Ross Hannaford, the event to celebrate the work of Daddy Cool guitarist Ross Hannaford, has sold out.

Ross Hannaford has been suffering a serious illness in the past few months and his famous friends will get together as a show of support to raise funds to look after the Daddy Cool legend in his hour of need.
The Saturday show for July 18 sold out within 24 hours and a second and final Sunday afternoon show went on sale this week with the final tickets available to buy.
Paul Kelly will perform at the second Concert for Ros Hannaford along with Hanna’s Daddy Cool mates Ross Wilson, Wayne Duncan and Gary Young, the Rockwiz Orchestra with James Black, Bart Willoughby, Pat Wilson Trio, Wilbur Wilde, Bruce Haymes, Kerryn Tolhurst, Margot Barrett and Linda Bull.
An ARIA hall of fame inductee as a founding member of Daddy Cool, Ross’s musical history spans 50 years. Beginning in the mid 60’s at age 16 with the Pink Finks, then Party Machine, Sons of the Vegetal Mother, Daddy Cool, Mighty Kong, Bambu, Billy T, One Foundation, Lucky Dog , Small Axe, Dianna Kiss (10 year residency at the Espy) to last year’s Critters. Back in the 90’s when Paul Kelly was asked why he lived in Melbourne, his reply was “Where else in the world can you see Ross Hannaford play for free every Monday night?’
Ross has also added his distinctive magic to many recordings and bands over the years such as Mark Gillespie, Goanna, Black Sorrows, Paul Madigan, Ian Moss, Renee Geyer and so many more.
