Seth MacFarlane will have a new TV show on air next week and it won’t be an animated show. Fox has given MacFarlane’s comedy ‘Dads’ a timeslot.
Seth MacFarlane is the creator behind ‘Family Guy’, ‘American Dad! and ‘The Cleveland Show’. In 2012 he debuted his motion-picture comedy ‘Ted’.
MacFarlane’s latest show ‘Dads’ is a live action sitcom about two friends and their fathers.
MacFarlane created ‘Dads’ with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. It stars Seth Green as Eli, Giovanni Ribisi as Warner, Martin Mull as Crawford and Peter Riegert as David.
Production for the show started in September 2012 after Fox bypassed the traditional pilot and took MacFarlane’s new show directly to series.
Dads will air on Fox Tuesdays at 8pm
Dads will be followed by another new comedy ‘Brooklyn Nine Nine’ starring Andy Samberg.
