Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has the no.2 album on the Billboard Jazz Chart this week … seriously.
Seth MacFarlane Music Is Better Than Words
It turns out Seth is a pretty snazzy jazz muso and has played sold out gigs at the Royal Albert Hall in London and Carnegie Hall in New York.
The debut album from Seth MacFarlane is ‘Music Is Better Than Words’. The album was produced and conducted by Joel McNeely, who is also one of the composers for one of Seth’s other show ‘American Dad’.
The album includes works by noted composers like Rogers & Hart, Hoagy Carmichael and Andre Previn and guest appearances from Norah Jones and Sarah Bareilles.
Seth MacFarlane is also the creator of The Cleveland Show and is currently developing a new version of The Flintstones, due to premiere in 2013.
‘Music Is Better Than Words’ is out through Universal Music.
