‘This is England’ director, Shane Meadows, gives us a never-before-seen insight into the Stone Roses.
For the film, ‘Made Of Stone’, The Stone Roses gave Meadows unprecedented access to the group’s archives and concert footage taken throughout the bands career.
The film follows the Stone Roses as they come back off a 16 year hiatus, capturing the interactions between band members, rehearsals and their enormous homecoming gig in Manchester that drew 220,000 fans.
After premiering on October 10 at the CBGB Festival in New York City, ‘Made Of Stone’ will make its way to cinemas across the US and Canada from November 6.
No word on whether or not it will hit cinemas in Australia at this time.
