Brisbane band Sheppard have released their second song ‘Hold My Tongue’ following the platinum success of their first single ‘Let Me Down Easy’.
Fans who have seen the Sheppard show will know ‘Hold My Tongue’. “This is the track that’s the most fun to play live,” said George Sheppard in a statement, “It’s the one our fans love dancing to most at our shows. We asked Australia to sing along with us on Let Me Down Easy, and now it’s time to invite everyone up to shake it a little!”
6-piece Sheppard features siblings George, Amy and Emma Sheppard. In the past two years the band has showcased in the USA, UK, South Africa, India and The Philippines. The first Sheppard song ‘Let Me Down Easy’ also cracked the Top 100 of the influential CMJ chart in the USA. The single is now on its way to 100,000 sales in Australia.
Sheppard will showcase at BIGSOUND in Brisbane in September and perform at Thailand’s Sonic Bang Festival before returning to New York for CMJ.
