Sheppard Release New Song ‘We Belong’

Sheppard formed in Brisbane in 2009 with siblings George, Amy and Emma Sheppard with Jason Bovino and Michael Butler joining in 2011 and drummer Dean Gordon joining in 2013.

The band achieved its biggest success with the song ‘Geronimo’ in 2013. It became a Top 10 hit in Austria, Germany, New Zealand and Poland and was certified 5x platinum in Australia for sales over 350,000.

Sheppard received seven nominations at the 2014 ARIA Music Awards: Bombs Away for Album of the Year, Best Group, Best Independent Release, Best Pop Release and Producer of the Year (for Stuart’s work); while “Geronimo” was nominated for Song of the Year, and Best Video (directed by Toby Morris). They won Best Group.

In a Facebook post the band wrote, “Very proud to announce our brand new single WE BELONG.
Available in AUS today / world ex-USA 11 NOV / USA 18 NOV.
We hope you love it”.
