Sheryl Crow’s new album ‘Threads’ features a cover of the Bob Dylan song ‘Everything Is Broken’ with Jason Isbell.
The Bob Dylan version featured on his 1989 album ‘Oh Mercy’. The version of the album was recorded in April 1989 but Dylan started the song a month earlier as ‘Broken Days’. An early version appears on the 2008 compilation ‘Tell Tale Signs – Rare and Unreleased 1989-2006’.
Dylan last performed the song in North Charleston, South Carolina in 6 May 2003.
