Hilltop Hoods have a Platinum hit on their hands with thanks to Sia. ‘I Love It’ featuring Sia from the album ‘Drinking From The Sun’ has past the benchmark Platinum sales mark.

The news comes at the same time Hilltop Hoods have signed an American deal with Fontana, the indie label for Universal Music.
“In the last few years, Hilltop Hoods have been successfully touring and releasing material in Canada, Germany, Switzerland and the UK,” commented Dylan Liddy (Manager of Hilltop Hoods). “Fontana has a proven track record of success in hip hop and we know they are the winning team to partner with to tackle the U.S.”
Ron Spaulding of Fontana said, “When I was in Australia, I was introduced to The Hilltop Hoods by Dylan and was blown away by the sheer quality of music they were producing; coupled with their success in their native country, we are excited to introduce them to the United States. Hilltop Hoods will be on Big Day out. Their 6th album ‘Drinking From The Sun’ will be released on March 9, 2012.
