Adelaide singer songwriter Sia Furler has revealed that none of her songs have made the next Madonna album despite a story circulating from a Madonna fansite today.
“Sadly, none of my submissions made the new Madonna record. “trust’ if it exists, was not written by me. Rumor!’, she tweeted.
Madonna fansite drownedmadonna.com had earlier posted that the ballad ‘Trust’, co-written by Sia and produced by William Orbit’ was the chosen song picked to up the next Madonna album. Sia has blown that rumor out of the water.
Australian Sia was signed to Sony Music Australia in 2000 and moved to London where she sang backing vocals for Jamiroquai.

Christina Aguilera’s management contacted her in 2007 for Christina to record ‘Death by Chocolate’. In 2009, she contributed another three of her songs to Aguliera’s ‘Bionic’ album.
In May this year, Sia appeared as an advisor to Christina on the fourth episode of The Voice.
Sia’s fifth album ‘We Are Born’ was released in 2010. The song ‘You’ve Changed’ reached no. 31 in Australia and was featured on the TV show ‘The Vampire Diaries.
Her next album is planned for release in mid-2012.
