Simon Cowell is keen on finding a woman to establish a long-term relationship with.
The 53-year-old British media mogul and his former fiance Mezhgan Hussainy split last year.
Following their break-up, Simon went on a series of dates with American model Carmen Electra. Although he confirmed she wasn’t his ‘girlfriend’, he called the gorgeous star ‘adorable’.
Apparently Simon and Carmen’s affair has cooled and the X Factor giant is interested in settling down into a serious romance.
‘I’d like to find a girlfriend,’ he told UK newspaper Sunday People.
‘I’m now a single man. We spent time together and she is so much fun. But I’d like to find a girlfriend.
‘I do particularly like British women but I haven’t got my eye on anyone.’
Simon claims that he is simply too busy looking after his £230 million business empire to invest as much time as he’d like to into romance.
Still, he is appreciative of the women and friends in his milieu that lend him their support.
‘I do work a lot and it doesn’t leave me very long for women but I have lots of great friends, and great women in my life,’ Simon said.
‘I’m lucky that I have a lot of good people around me. That’s very important, especially when you do what I do.
‘I’m happy but I would like a girlfriend.’
