Sir Ranulph Fiennes, the world’s greatest living explorer, to tour Australia

by Paul Cashmere on November 26, 2018

in News

Sir Ranulph Fiennes, the man listed by the Guinness Book of Records as the World’s Greatest Living Explorer, will perform a tour of speaking engagement in Australia next March and April.

Sir Ranulph has climbed Mount Everest, been to the North and South Poles, and who ran seven marathons in seven days in seven countries having had a heart-attack four months before, will tell his stories in Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart and Perth.

Sir Ranulph has crossed both the Antarctic and Arctic Oceans, he was the first person to circumnavigate the world along its polar axis.

Sir Ranulph’s title is not a royal title. He has never been awarded a knighthood by the Queen but uses Sir because he is a Baronet (which in British circles is actually a higher ranking than most knighthoods).

Sir Ranulph Fiennes dates

29 March, Perth, Crown Theatre
30 March, Hobart, Wrest Point
31 March, Melbourne, Hamer Hall
1 April, Sydney, Opera House
