Another Australian music festival has been delivered another major blow with Skrillex dropping out of Stereosonic just days before the first show in Sydney.
A message on his Facebook page states, “Due to unfortunate circumstances that are beyond my control, I won’t be able to make the Dog Blood Stereosonic dates this year. For the record, I love the Stereosonic team and the One Love crew who puts on these events and this has nothing to do with them on their side. I will be spending the rest of this year finishing my new music but will be coming back to do some Skrillex shows over New Year’s Eve in a couple weeks and will be spending more time in OZ in ’14. Thanks and really looking forward to seeing you guys soon”.

Stereosonic dates are:
November 30 and December 1, Sydney and Perth
December 6 and 7, Adelaide
December 7 and 8, Melbourne and Brisbane
