Dance-punk hype band Sleigh Bells release a teaser trailer for their second album.

The Brooklyn duo released their debut Treats last year to indie adulation, combining the mad riffery and pummeling electro beats of Derek E Miller (formerly of hardcore unit Poison The Well) with the chiming pop vocals of Alexis Krauss.

The duo began work on their second album, titled Reign Of Terror, in June this year. In May, Derek and Alexis spoke to Rolling Stone about the demoing process.

Derek revealed, “Emotionally, it’s a really heavy record” and said the “party” element may be diminished.

Alexis said, “Even the early demos that we have now, a lot of the stuff that Derek has recorded, sounds more immense to me. It sounds really huge, so there’s going to still be tons of volume and hopefully that same intensity will be communicated to people; that punch in the face.”

Now the duo have delivered the first sounds and sights from Reign Of Terror in a teaser trailer for the album, which is due out next year.

There isn’t much to go on, but they look great and it sounds evil. Check it out below.
